No prior experience is required, but strong communication and a customer-service mindset are essential. In this entry-level position, you will develop healthcare-specific experience, learn HIPAA rules, and contribute to a supportive team that values accuracy, empathy, and responsiveness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; call center or billing experience helpful but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume inbound calls from patients, representatives, attorneys, and insurers.
• Identify caller needs and resolve inquiries timely and accurately.
• Research billing issues following standard work policies; document findings.
• Escalate complex accounts as needed and explain billing policies to patients.
• Process payments and adjustments; manage incoming correspondence securely.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct at all times.
• Support department scheduling and coverage for call center hours.
