Job summary

Central Health in the United States seeks a Remote Patient Access Representative to serve as the first contact for patients, families, and guests. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, register patients, verify insurance, and guide patients to online self-service options.

In this call center role, you will use EPIC and other knowledge management tools, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, handle end-of-day deposits, and support the clinic with accurate information and courteous service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or CMAA certification in lieu of diploma.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience; front office/registration in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call-center environment with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet, and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately using the computer system.
• Register patients with demographics and insurance information in the EMR.
• Verify and ensure completeness of patient registration documentation.
• Verify and enter patient data into the electronic medical system.
• Review insurance coverage using online resources.
• Collect deposits or co-payments/deductibles per policy.
• Balance end-of-day deposits and close out daily transactions.
• Notify staff of emergencies, messages, and patient arrivals.
• Document patient concerns to site leadership and maintain confidentiality.
