Oak Street Health is hiring a Contact Center Service Advocate I to support patients remotely. You will schedule appointments, assist with inquiries, and ensure an outstanding patient experience across calls and digital channels.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, collaboration with clinical staff, and proactive communication to minimize missed appointments in a 40-hour week. Remote work setup and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Friendly and nurturing attitude toward our patient population of older adults.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficient PC skills, including basic Microsoft Excel.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish speakers preferred.
• US work authorization.

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient appointments (inbound/outbound; reschedule/cancel).
• Provide courteous, professional service to patients.
• Enter patient information and appointment details into scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients.
• Address scheduling conflicts and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
• Handle other duties or special projects as assigned.
