Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a PRN scheduling specialist for a fully remote, part-time role based in the Peaks region. You will manage patient appointments across multiple departments, transcribe external orders, and maintain high-volume communications with accuracy.

Required are strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to explain benefits while coordinating with care teams. Remote/hybrid requirements include Teams video interviews and possible onsite meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR (4) years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of (2) years of revenue cycle experience and/or (2) years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and pre-registers patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other appointments captured by the department.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians and handle high call volumes across locations.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform scheduling functions and input patient data accurately.
• Validate patient insurance and explain benefits as needed.
• Mentor new hires as needed and adhere to mission and values.
