Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Part time, Fully Remote Scheduling Clerk to pre-register patients for appointments and procedures across multiple locations. You will handle high call volumes, input data, verify insurance, and assist with physician orders.

This role supports Intermountain Health's mission and requires strong computer skills and customer service excellence. The position is PRN (as needed) with a focus on accurate data entry, effective communication, and collaboration with teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4+ years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum 2 years revenue cycle and/or 2 years in a contact center.
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills; comfortable with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Handle high call volumes across locations and departments.
• Input patient data accurately into the system.
• Validate insurance and explain benefits as needed.
• Manage multiple phone calls, transfers and conferencing.
• Mentor new hires as needed.
• Support Intermountain Health mission and values.
