Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time scheduling clerk for a fully remote, PRN role. You will schedule and pre-register patients, manage high call volumes, and input data across multiple systems from home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 4 years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum 2 years of revenue cycle and/or 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department bookings.
• Handle high call volumes across multiple locations and departments.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Input patient data accurately into the system.
• Validate patient insurance and explain benefits as needed.
• Manage multiple phone calls, including transferring and conferencing.
• Mentor new hires as needed.
• Promote Intermountain Health values and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
