Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Registration & Financial Resolution Specialist for a fully remote role. You will support patients, guarantors, and insurers by registering patients, verifying insurance, and facilitating payments with accuracy and empathy.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, multitasking ability, and experience in high-volume healthcare environments. This role emphasizes timely resolution and precise documentation in a patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing preferred.
• Over one year working in a customer service or client relations role.
• Office or hospital environment experience is preferred.
• High volume call center experience is preferred.
• Strong literacy (grammar, spelling, math) and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial point of contact, gathering patient demographics, insurance information, and payments.
• Registration & Intake: Register patients efficiently for appointments, surgery, or admissions.
• Data accuracy: Input accurate demographic and financial data into the system.
• Insurance verification: Verify eligibility and identify patient liability.
• Answer calls from patients, guarantors, and insurers.
• Research accounts to provide balance, payment and insurance information and educate callers.
• Resolve insurance and billing errors and set up payment plans or settlements as needed.
• Document work per Elevate PFS guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
