Signature Performance, Inc. seeks a Remote Patient Financial Experience Representative to handle patient communications, resolve billing and insurance inquiries, facilitate payments, and connect patients with available financial assistance resources across the United States.

Responsibilities include researching accounts in hospital systems, explaining balances clearly, and pursuing first-contact resolution while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in healthcare revenue cycle, hospital patient financial services, patient billing, self-pay collections, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound patient and guarantor calls regarding hospital statements, insurance processing, patient balances, self-pay accounts, payment options, and billing concerns.
• Explain account balances, insurance payments, patient responsibility, and next steps in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Collect and securely process patient payments, offer approved payment arrangements, and follow self-pay collection practices and consumer-protection requirements.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance or charity care and refer or assist patients per policies and workflows.
• Research accounts in EHR, patient accounting, payment, telephony, and CRM systems; document interactions and follow-up.
• Identify billing discrepancies, insurance issues, complaints, or complex accounts; escalate when needed.
