Job summary

Podimetrics seeks an Onboarding Specialist to engage patients by phone, introduce the SmartMat, and guide them through intake and the first scan. You will work remotely with a focus on compassionate education and motivation to ensure patients understand the program value and feel confident using their device.

You will document interactions in Achilles and CRM, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help improve activation rates while delivering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in call center, healthcare support, patient engagement, or device onboarding roles.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with empathetic explanations.
• Comfortable navigating cloud-based systems and documentation tools (Five9, Google Workspace).
• Highly organized and adaptable with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to introduce the Podimetrics SmartMat program and complete intake information.
• Guide patients through device setup and the first successful scan for ongoing monitoring.
• Use motivational and educational techniques to encourage engagement and overcome hesitation.
• Maintain ownership of assigned patients until activation is completed.
• Document all interactions and progress in the electronic health record (Achilles) and CRM tools.
• Track outreach results (call attempts, contact rates, activations).
• Follow scripts while maintaining an empathetic tone.
• Report technical issues, patient feedback, or barriers to activation to leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Device Operations for smooth handoffs.
• Participate in training to stay aligned on messaging and workflow updates.
• Support process improvements to improve activation rates and patient satisfaction
