Job summary

CVS Health's Coram/CVS team seeks a Patient Intake Coordinator to support the Enteral Nutrition Center with initial admission of patients. You will maintain workflow between branch, Sales staff, Insurance Verification, and referral sources to ensure patients receive timely care.

Responsibilities include processing referrals, assessing patient needs, coordinating with insurance, and providing billing-related information.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in customer service.
• Minimum two years experience in healthcare.
• Minimum one year experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Process orders from referral sources and patients; respond to phone and fax inquiries; resolve patient complaints.
• Assess patient needs and document referral requests for coordination of care.
• Provide information on equipment supplies and services to applicable departments to bring a patient on service.
• Coordinate with Insurance Verification Team to process patient details and collect benefit coverage information.
• Relay insurance coverage details to referral sources and patients; discuss forms for billing.
