You will handle inbound and outbound patient communications, resolve billing and insurance inquiries, and facilitate payments and payment arrangements with a focus on accuracy and patient-centric service. Qualifikationen

• Must have 1–2 years in healthcare revenue cycle or patient financial services.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with empathetic communication.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Experience researching patient accounts across multiple systems.

Aufgaben

• Manage inbound and outbound patient and guarantor calls regarding statements, insurance processing, balances, self-pay accounts, options, and concerns.
• Explain account balances, payments, and next steps in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Collect and securely process payments; offer approved payment arrangements; follow self-pay practices.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance and refer patients per policies.
• Research accounts in EHR, patient accounting, payment, telephony, and CRM systems; document interactions and follow-up.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate billing or leadership team.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience with empathy, active listening, and de-escalation; aim for first-contact resolution.
• Balance patient experience with financial accuracy and compliance.
