Qualifications

• 1-2 years in healthcare revenue cycle or patient financial services.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Experience navigating hospital or EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound patient communications regarding statements and balances.
• Explain balances, payments and next steps in patient-friendly language.
• Process payments and arrange approved payment plans.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance and assist accordingly.
• Document interactions and follow-up in hospital systems.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate billing or leadership.
