Signature Performance, a leading provider of patient financial services, is seeking a Patient Financial Experience Representative for a remote role that accepts applicants nationwide in the United States.

You will handle inbound and outbound patient communications, resolve billing and insurance inquiries, facilitate payments and payment arrangements, and connect patients with financial assistance resources.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to handle inbound and outbound patient communications with clarity and empathy.
• Experience with hospital patient accounting or EHR systems and insurance terminology.
• Knowledge of financial assistance workflows, patient estimates, HIPAA, and consumer financial communication requirements.
• Ability to research patient accounts, navigate multiple systems, document interactions accurately, and maintain professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Manage inbound and outbound patient and guarantor calls regarding statements, insurance processing, balances, self-pay accounts, and payment options.
• Explain account balances, insurance payments, patient responsibility, and next steps clearly to patients.
• Collect and securely process patient payments, offer approved payment arrangements, and follow self-pay collection practices.
• Identify eligibility for financial assistance and refer patients per policy and workflows.
• Document interactions, commitments, dispositions, and follow-up in hospital systems.
