Texas Health Resources is seeking a Post Service Financial Concierge to support patients remotely from a home office. The role requires experience in healthcare revenue cycle and hospital call centers, with onsite training possibly required.

It offers a monthly bonus and a remote work setup. Responsibilities include handling patient financial questions, explaining estimates and payment plans, and ensuring accurate balance resolutions with hospitals, insurers and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience in healthcare with 1 year in hospital CBO customer service/call center required.
• Or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years Revenue Cycle experience and 1 year in hospital CBO call center.
• Three years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience required.
• One year experience in hospital CBO customer service or call center in healthcare required.
• CRCR certification preferred.
• Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from patients/guarantors regarding financial questions on accounts, including estimates, deposits/payments, and payment plans.
• Focus on service and patient experience when dealing with patients, employers, and staff.
• Review and validate cases and ensure tasks are completed on each account.
• Act as advocate to settle consumer concerns between hospitals, departments, physicians, insurers and consumers to ensure accurate information and balance resolution.
• Liaise with PAS, leaders, or other departments to ensure appropriate account balance.
• Escalated issues receive immediate attention.
• Inform leadership of potential issues or trends delaying timely responses.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
