Sentara Health is hiring a Patient Care Specialist for a full-time, remote position. The role focuses on non-clinical support in a physician's office, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients with questions.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A HS Diploma is required, with an Associate degree or higher considered in lieu of experience; 3 years of customer service and 1 year in health-insurance or medical data roles are required.

Qualificações

• 3 years Customer Service experience required.
• 1 year experience with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third Party Payers required.
• HS Diploma required; Associate level degree or higher in lieu of experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Provide non-clinical support within a physician's office.
• Ensure an excellent patient experience by handling a variety of administrative tasks.
