Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist to provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Remote position with clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, dayshift.

Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient questions.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience (Required).
• 1 year of experience with health insurance plans, medical records data, medical terminology, registration, scheduling, or third party payers (Required).
