Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a remote Call Center Associate to handle inbound calls, resolve patient and physician inquiries, and process new applicants. The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and independent work habits. Training runs 8:00am-5:00pm CST with flexibility to cover 7:00am-5:00pm CST on weekdays.

Medical, dental, vision benefits and 401(k) offered. The position is full-time, remote, with an anticipated hourly range of $18.10–$25.80.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced call center environment preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls; determine needs and provide one-call resolution.
• Manage inbound faxes workload when applicable.
• Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries promptly.
• Enter details into proprietary software while speaking on the phone.
• Place outbound calls for follow ups and missing information.
• Interact with patient referral sources to process new applicants.
• Coordinate with internal teams on next steps.
• Communicate with physicians and pharmacies; document adverse events.
