Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support seeks a remote, full-time specialist to handle inbound calls, resolve patient inquiries, and process new applicants. You will enter data into our proprietary software and coordinate with physician offices and pharmacies to ensure timely follow-up and adherence to processes.

The role requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably a Certified Pharmacy Technician with 1+ year call center experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in fast paced call center environment preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft systems, telephony.
• Strong communication/customer service skills.
• Ability to be an independent worker and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and provide one-call resolution.
• Manage workload of inbound faxes (if applicable).
• Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries in a timely manner.
• Enter detailed information into proprietary software while conversing by phone.
• Place outbound calls for patient follow ups or to obtain missing information.
• Interact with patient referral sources to process new applicants.
• Follow up with internal team members regarding next steps.
• Communicate with physician offices and pharmacies.
• Identify, document and submit Adverse Events during contact or documentation.
