The role emphasizes reducing patient out-of-pocket costs, handling copays, and assisting with renewals while working remotely with healthcare providers and insurers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance or customer service required (experience with prescription assistance programs is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate complex processes.
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacies.
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with enrolling in the Prescription Payment Plan and verify eligibility.
• Confirm coverage of prescribed medications and manage approvals for eligible meds.
• Help manage copayments, coinsurance, and additional copay assistance when applicable.
• Coordinate with participating pharmacies to apply benefits during prescription filling.
• Support patients in refills and continued use, monitoring adherence and eligibility.
• Guide patients through annual renewals and inform them about program/formulary updates.
