Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative in a remote Texas-based role. You will handle inbound and outbound calls regarding payments, explain EOBs, and coordinate payment plans to support patients' financial needs.

Key tasks include reviewing accounts, posting payments, updating contact information, and generating daily GoRev reports. A strong customer service approach helps de-escalate concerns while ensuring accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Two consecutive years in Patient Access, Patient Advocacy, Front Desk Registration (Hospital or Clinic), or similar.
• High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate.
• Post-Secondary Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding.

Responsibilities

• Explain in-network and out-of-network benefits.
• Provide excellent customer service to de-escalate irate patients.
• Review payment posting and explanations of payments.
• Review accounts to ensure proper billing.
• Set up payment plans for patients.
• Update wrong addresses and/or contact information.
• Review Bad Debt accounts for collection letters.
• Review payments in GoRev and Waystar.
• Provide billing ledgers and medical records upon request.
