You will handle inbound patient billing inquiries, assist with payments, explain balances, discuss payment plans and financial assistance, while delivering professional customer service and precise documentation. Responsibilities include managing MyChart education, Epic data entry, and payment arrangements.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare customer service, medical billing, revenue cycle, or call center experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a high-volume call center environment preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient conversations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient billing and payment-related calls.
• Explain account balances, copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
• Process payments and assist with payment arrangements.
• Educate patients on MyChart and self-service resources.
• Assist patients with financial assistance inquiries.
• Document all interactions within Epic.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
• Deliver professional and compassionate customer service.
