Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a compassionate Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for patients, customers and healthcare partners, delivering exceptional service via phone and email while maintaining patient confidentiality.

You will handle inquiries, document interactions, verify insurance details, and resolve issues, all while meeting SLAs in a fully remote contract-to-hire role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of call center experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and emails, addressing needs professionally.
• Document customer interactions and call details per SOP.
• Answer questions about products, services, locations and general service information.
• Verify insurance carrier information within company databases.
• Resolve customer concerns using strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services and procedures; adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Meet established performance metrics and service level expectations.
