The Patient Advocate Specialist role focuses on addressing medical account balances, guiding patients through assistive programs, and ensuring compliant, compassionate service while safeguarding privacy. This position offers remote work with potential onsite options.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Experience in medical coding or billing preferred.
• Self-motivated and capable of staying on task with minimal supervision.
• Ability to download 2-factor authentication apps on personal device.

Responsabilidades

• Address outstanding account balances related to medical services.
• Contact patients by phone and assess eligibility for state, county, and federal assistance programs.
• Guide patients through the application process for assistance programs and initiate applications when feasible.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Aim for high CSAT and compliant handling of patient information.
