Cardinal Health is seeking a Supervisor, Access and Patient Support to oversee program staff performing customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities, benefit investigations for pharmacy coverage, prior authorization assistance, copay enrollment and other hub services.

The role is remote with 100% virtual team management, requiring strong leadership and communication skills, plus experience in a call center background. Training runs 8:00am-5:00pm CST for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years proven leadership experience in a call center, with customer service exposure.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments with urgency.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Commitment to ongoing development of self and team.
• Ability to lead and engage remote employees.
• Shift flexibility for early/later coverage may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for an inbound and outbound patient access support team.
• Maintain development and training goals for a remote team.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions & metrics for the program.
• Review program metrics daily/weekly/monthly and report results to leadership.
• Manage workflow to ensure efficient customer service; monitor calls and KPIs.
• Test/implement program changes related to technology and business rules.
• Meet with Manager to discuss performance and policy updates.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones for coaching and development.
• Handle Workday tasks including approvals for timecards and PTO.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Company policies including HIPAA.
• Collaborate with partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Prioritize duties to meet deadlines; maintain client contact.
