Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Patient Access Liaison (PAL), a field-based access and reimbursement specialist who helps patients, caregivers, and providers navigate insurance coverage for Amgen therapies.

The PAL collaborates with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Marketing, Case Management and Site of Care teams to address reimbursement barriers, educate on coverage, and improve patient access. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Educational background and experience in patient access and reimbursement are required.
• Experience with infusion or specialty therapies is preferred.
• Ability to navigate complex payer policies and denial management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
• Assist patients, caregivers, and providers with insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and reimbursement processes.
• Identify and resolve access challenges and provide education on coverage and financial assistance programs.
• Educate provider offices on therapy coverage pathways and billing considerations.
