Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a remote team member to support patient communications, data entry, and insurance coordination. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with the Entri team to meet patient and provider needs.

You will engage with hospital patients by phone, enter information electronically, and assist with pre-certification processes. A minimum of 2 years' experience and a High School level education are requested.

Qualifications

• High school level education; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with client hospital patients via telephone using appropriate scripting to ensure the patient's medical record is current.
• Accurate entry of information electronically.
• Initiates contact with insurance companies via website, fax, or telephone using appropriate scripting to ensure the required level of benefit and pre-certification/authorization requirements are obtained.
• Provides excellent customer service to all patients while working through patient-raised issues and recommends appropriate solutions.
• Mentorship of new hires.
• Leads the local R1 Entri team in completing assigned responsibilities for the work area.
