Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Solutions Representative II to work in a remote, high-volume healthcare call center. You will assist patients with billing, insurance questions, and account issues while promoting efficient revenue cycle management.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, explain benefits and EOBs, support payment plans, and aim for first-call resolution in a fast-paced environment. HIPAA compliance and precise documentation are essential.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center role.
Experience in health insurance, payer customer service, or medical billing/claims preferred.
Ability to explain insurance benefits, claims, and EOBs clearly.
Experience handling high call volume in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality customer service through inbound and outbound calls.
Resolve questions related to medical billing, insurance coverage, claims, EOBs, and balances.
Support patients with payment plans and financial questions.
Achieve first call resolution and meet call center metrics.
Use EMR systems to research and resolve issues and document accurately.
