Job summary

The Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative for its High School Exchange Program. This flexible, part-time 1099 role works with host families and schools to connect international students with welcoming hosts, while providing ongoing support for successful exchanges.

You will recruit families, coordinate applications and orientations, conduct in-home interviews, and document progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with time management and independence.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and homes.
• Basic computer literacy for online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families in the area.
• Build relationships with local schools to raise awareness.
• Promote exchange programs through community outreach.
• Guide host families through online applications.
• Conduct in-home interviews and verify references.
• Facilitate host family orientations and set expectations.
• Perform monthly check-ins with families and students.
• Document interactions and progress in the online system.
