Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative for its High School Exchange Program. This entry-level, part-time, 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and remote work, connecting international students with welcoming host families and supporting exchanges from start to finish.

You will recruit host families, work with schools, and provide ongoing support, with monthly check-ins and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfort with in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and manage time.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and homes.
• Basic computer literacy for online documentation and applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness.
• Promote exchange programs through community outreach.
• Guide host families through the online application process on the org's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews and verify references for suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students.
• Document all interactions and progress in the online system.
