Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative to recruit host families, guide them through applications, and provide ongoing support for international student exchanges. This entry-level, part-time 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and remote work, with local travel as needed.

Responsibilities include recruiting host families, coordinating with local schools, and promoting awareness of exchange programs while guiding families through orientations and check-ins

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for completing online documentation and applications.
• Prior experience in education or community outreach is a plus.
• Familiarity with international education programs is helpful.
• Experience working with schools is advantageous.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are helpful but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone calls or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports accurately in the online system.
