Job summary

APPLIED Adhesives is seeking a Territory Manager, Packaging to secure new accounts in the packaging segment while sustaining existing customers in a Texas territory. This remote role requires travel up to 60% and alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in chemical distribution sales, a passion for hunting new business, and proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office. Eligible candidates reside in major Texas metros.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience selling within the chemical distribution industry.
• Minimum 3 years of business development experience; hunter mentality for new business.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) to manage pipeline and forecast.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and win new customers to increase the customer base.
• Retain and grow sales/profitability with existing customers.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account.
• Develop and present sales proposals aligned to customer needs and goals.
• Maintain high activity levels in CRM and review with management.
• Travel up to 60% of the time within assigned territory.
