Job summary

APPLIED Adhesives is seeking a Territory Manager, Packaging for a remote role in California with up to 50% travel. The role focuses on securing new accounts in packaging while maintaining an existing customer base across a geographic territory.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in chemical distribution sales, an Associate’s degree or higher, and legal work authorization in the United States. Bachelor’s degree preferred and CRM experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience selling within the chemical distribution industry.
• Associate’s Degree or higher.
• Located in Minnesota.
• Valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and win new customers to increase the customer base.
• Retain & grow sales/profitability with existing customers.
• Proactively assess and validate customer needs and goals on an ongoing basis.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account.
• Develop and present sales proposals aligned to customer needs and goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed customer plans with existing and prospective key accounts that are critical to achieving territory revenue and profit margin goals.
• Maintain high levels of professional internal and external communication.
• 50% travel within assigned geographic territory including regular on-site account visits.
