Job summary

TGC Search is seeking a Business Development Manager for packaging with a focus on expanding the Northeast clientele. The role is fully remote within the United States, coordinating with regional teams to drive new business opportunities and strengthen existing accounts.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in packaging sales, strong negotiation skills, and fluency with ERP systems and MS Office. Cosmetic packaging experience is a plus, and travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales or business development experience within the packaging industry.
• Cosmetic packaging experience preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of developing new accounts and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Navision or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with inventory or product management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new account leads and convert opportunities into long-term relationships.
• Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities with assigned accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships and promote a positive customer experience.
• Develop regional action plans and sales objectives.
• Analyze market conditions, competitors, and sales performance.
• Prepare quotations and commercial offers according to company policies.
• Support promotional initiatives and pricing opportunities.
• Prepare annual regional sales forecasts and monitor performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and explore new business.
• Maintain regular customer contact and meetings across the region.
