Job summary

The TemPositions Group is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager – Packaging to drive new business across the Northeast from a 100% remote setup. This role targets cosmetic and other packaging segments, expanding the customer base and coordinating with clients for long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities include developing regional plans, managing quotations, and supporting sales growth while maintaining strong customer relationships and meeting regular regional objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales or business development within packaging or related sectors.
• Proven track record of creating new accounts and exceeding targets.
• Experience presenting and negotiating with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop new account leads and convert opportunities into long-term relationships.
• Manage assigned accounts and coordinate pre- and post-sales activities.
• Build relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop regional action plans and set sales objectives.
• Analyze market conditions, competition, and product trends.
• Prepare quotations and commercial offers per company policy.
• Support promotions and pricing opportunities as appropriate.
• Forecast regional sales revenue and volumes annually.
• Monitor performance and report findings to management.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and new business in the region.
• Maintain regular customer contact and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
