Job summary

Aegis Worldwide seeks a Sales Manager for a remote role covering the Northeast US with travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in outside sales, strong prospecting skills, and a hunter mindset to grow packaging solutions with industrial manufacturers.

Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, leveraging CRM/ERP, and building relationships from plant staff to executives. Travel is required to engage customers directly.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record of generating new business through prospecting, cold calling, and converting leads into long-term customers.
• Strong hunter mentality with a passion for developing new accounts and expanding market share.
• Experience selling flexible packaging products or solutions to industrial manufacturers.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities for face-to-face meetings.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
• Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing an independent sales territory and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in flexible packaging and industrial manufacturing markets.
• Execute a proactive sales strategy through cold calling, networking, and customer visits.
• Build and maintain relationships from plant level to C-suite executives.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiations and closing.
• Grow existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Conduct onsite customer visits to understand operations and packaging needs.
• Use CRM systems to manage pipelines and track activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for customers.
• Leverage market insights to improve sales effectiveness and growth opportunities.
