Job summary

Qualifications include 2+ years outpatient facility coding, AHIMA/AAPC certification, and proficiency with CPT/ICD-10 coding in Windows/EMR environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold professional coder certification with AHIMA and/or AAPC.

Responsibilities

• Identify CPT and ICD-10 codes for outpatient procedures and services.
• Apply coding policies and review documentation for accuracy.
• Provide feedback to physicians and query when appropriate.
• Maintain up-to-date coding knowledge from QM/Director materials.
