Datavant is seeking experienced outpatient coders to join our remote team. The role emphasizes high attention to detail, strong medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to code diagnoses and procedures accurately from medical records.

Candidates should have AHIMA CCS or AAPC CPC credentials, 2+ years of hospital coding experience, and experience with EPIC and 3M Solventum. The position is fully remote with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a supportive, professional

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credentials required (CCS, CPC, etc.).
• 2+ years of hospital coding and/or coding consulting experience.
• Proficiency in SDS/OBS, E/M leveling, and injections/infusions.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M Solventum required.

Responsabilités

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Sequence codes based on documentation.
• Assign discharge dispositions and abstract data for reporting.
• Communicate coding issues and opportunities for documentation improvement.
• Maintain coding accuracy and APC assignment productivity standards.
