Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor to ensure accuracy in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding. The role involves quality reviews, cross-department coordination, and education of coding staff to strengthen documentation and reimbursement accuracy.

Applicants should have 5+ years in professional medical coding/reimbursement and AHIMA/AAPC credentials. Remote work nationwide with standard 8-hour shifts and a compensation range of $28–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal coding program with preference for AHIMA/AAPC credentials.
• 5+ years of progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• Experience auditing outpatient coding in multiple specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create clear audit findings and recommendations in written reports.
• Provide education and feedback to coders and staff on coding changes.
• Identify documentation gaps impacting coding accuracy and propose improvements.
• Guide staff in resolving coding issues and trends for performance improvement.
