Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor to ensure coding accuracy and resolve documentation and compliance challenges.

This role requires organization, prioritization, professionalism, and the ability to coach others while delivering audits and recommendations across departments. You will coordinate with managers to ensure standards are met, provide education on coding changes, and improve documentation practices.

Formación

• Completion of a formal coding program with AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred.
• 5+ years professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• National auditing credential preferred (CPMA) or able to attain within 12 months.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, HCPCS, and related coding references.
• Experience with Multi-Specialty Outpatient Clinic for Facility and Pro-fee services preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple client systems and with MS Office applications.
• Cerner, EPIC, and 3M 360 Encompass experience preferred.
• Academic medical facility auditing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create clear and accurate audit findings and recommendations in written reports for coders, auditors, managers, and directors.
• Identify documentation issues that impact coding accuracy and communicate improvement opportunities clearly.
• Provide guidance to staff in identifying and resolving coding issues and error trends.
• Deliver continuing education to coders and staff on changes in coding and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure compliance with policies.
