Qualifications

• Proficiency in Same Day Surgery, Observation, Injections/Infusions, ED, Ancillary.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign and sequence codes based on medical record documentation.
• Assign discharge disposition and abstract coded data for reporting.
• Communicate coding issues and opportunities for follow-up.
