Job summary

SelectQuote is seeking experienced, driven sales professionals to join our Qualifications Team as a Sales Development Advisor. This is an unlicensed, outbound sales role focused on contacting prospects, generating interest, understanding needs, and transferring qualified prospects to licensed agents.

The role is high-volume and metrics-driven, with paid training, base salary plus bonus, and a career path into licensed sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of telesales, inside sales, phone sales, or comparable sales experience.
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven or commission-based sales environment.
• Demonstrated success working toward quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or other measurable sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, with activity up to 800 calls per day.
• Generate interest and engage prospects over the phone.
• Identify customer needs and qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed agent.
• Handle objections and move prospects toward the next step.
• Follow scripts and established processes while maintaining natural conversation.
• Meet or exceed transfer and performance goals.
