Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced OTS Project Manager to guide pre-construction efforts for EPC projects. This fully remote role requires coordinating scope, budget, and schedules while partnering with design, procurement, and EPC Pre-Con teams to set up projects in CMiC and ensure smooth handoffs to PMs.

The candidate should bring 4+ years of project management experience, PV solar exposure, and strong communication skills to support cost control and design kickoffs within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 4+ years project management experience across multiple projects.
• 2+ years PV solar industry experience (industrial or utility scale).
• General knowledge of SCADA and OT system design, setup, commissioning and support.
• Experience with basic renewable generation monitoring functions and designs.
• Customer escalation and conflict resolution skills desirable.
• Resource planning and mitigation management.
• Cost budget management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding diagrams and schematics including power systems, networking, control, electrical, mechanical and civil layouts.
• Experience with scheduling software: Oracle P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Proficient with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Experience using task management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee OTS EPC projects during the pre-construction phase, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain OTS Pre-Contribution Tracker and project documentation.
• Serve as main POC to EPC Pre-Con on incoming projects.
• Attend BD to Pre-Con handoff calls and confirm initial project budgets.
• Identify and manage cost changes during pre-construction phase.
• Create project start forms and set up projects in CMiC.
• Collaborate with design team to kick off design per schedule constraints.
• Work with procurement to draft project BOMs and subcontracts.
• Coordinate with EPC Pre-Con to process SOLV-to-SOLV agreements.
• Track and review SOW exhibits and allocate project resources.
• Collaborate with EPC teams to import full project budgets into CMiC.
• Support continuous improvement and process efficiency.
