Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead pre-construction for OTS EPC initiatives in the renewable energy sector. The role is fully remote across the United States, requiring coordination across design, procurement and field teams to set up projects in CMiC and establish budgets, schedules and scope.

You will drive early-stage planning, track cost changes, prepare BOMs, and ensure smooth handoffs to project execution.

Qualifications

• 4+ years project management experience.
• 2+ years PV solar industry experience.
• Knowledge of SCADA/OT systems is a plus.
• Experience with project budgeting and cost control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with scheduling software (Oracle P6 / MS Project).
• Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OTS EPC projects during the pre-construction phase, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain OTS Pre-Construction Tracker and ensure accurate handoffs.
• Act as main POC to EPC Pre-Con on all incoming projects.
• Attend BD to Pre-Con handoff calls and confirm initial budgets.
• Identify and manage cost changes during pre-construction.
• Generate job start forms and set up projects in CMiC.
• Collaborate with design to kick off design within project schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement to draft project BOMs.
• Manage vendor subcontracts respecting project schedules.
• Track and review SOW exhibits and import budgets into CMiC.
