Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead Operational Technology Solutions pre-construction for utility-scale solar and grid projects. You will coordinate scope, schedule, and budgets, set up projects in CMiC, and serve as the main point of contact for the EPC Pre-Con team.

This fully remote role requires strong communication, cost management, and familiarity with PV solar or OT systems. You will work with design, procurement, and project controls to ensure successful handoffs to the PMs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years project management experience, with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Minimum of 2 years PV solar industry experience.
• General knowledge of SCADA and OT system design, setup, commissioning and support.
• Experience with basic renewable generation monitoring functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Resource planning and cost budget management.
• Familiar with scheduling tools such as Oracle P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee OTS EPC projects during the pre-construction phase, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain OTS Pre-Construction Tracker and act as main POC to EPC Pre-Con.
• Attend BD to Pre-Con handoff calls and confirm initial project budgets with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage cost changes during pre-construction phase.
• Generate job start forms and set up projects in CMiC.
• Collaborate with design team to kick off design within project schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement to draft project BOMs.
• Manage execution of vendor subcontracts considering project schedules.
• Collaborate with EPC Pre-Con to process SOLV-to-SOLV agreements.
• Review SOW exhibits and assign project resources with Managers.
• Update project schedules and participate in monthly financial reporting for pre-construction.
• Set up and host handoffs from OTS Pre-Con to OTS PMs.
• Collaborate with EPC teams to import full project budgets into CMiC.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and process efficiency.
