You will lead Account Management staff, drive service excellence, and manage a book of business, while ensuring HR compliance and process improvement.

The role emphasizes staff development, client relationship management, and renewal/new business support within a collaborative IOA environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership and day-to-day oversight of Account Management staff.
• Guide team performance and ensure compliance with processes.
• Maintain service excellence and staff development.
• Manage an assigned book of business and client relationships.
• Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports.
• Ensure HR policy and processes are followed.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Deliver evaluations and maintain transparent leadership communication.
• Balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
• Implement and enforce processes and best practices.
• Monitor performance data and take necessary actions.
• Maintain data integrity across agency and carrier systems.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, and renewals.
• Lead renewal and new business processes.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay updated on IOA policies and demonstrate leadership.
