Insurance Office of America, Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead the Account Management team and oversee day-to-day operations within the branch. You will guide performance, ensure process adherence, and drive service excellence for a focused book of business.

The role requires deep insurance brokerage knowledge, active licensing, and strong leadership. Remote/hybrid options apply with location flexibility; Florida-experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years of sales, marketing or relationship management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance standards and service quality.
• Promote IOA culture and employee engagement.
• Support staff development and training.
• Develop future branch operations leaders.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching.
• Ensure HR policy compliance.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and onboarding.
• Deliver evaluations and maintain open communication with leadership.
• Balance workloads to maintain service continuity.
• Enforce processes and best practices.
• Monitor performance data and take action as needed.
• Maintain accurate data across systems.
• Manage an assigned book of business.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for coverage and service questions.
• Manage client relationships and support renewals.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, claims support and accuracy.
• Lead or support renewal and new business processes.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
