Job summary

Medcor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple occupational health and wellness clinics across the United States. This remote, field-based leadership role requires East Coast residency and up to 75% nationwide travel.

You will lead operations, optimize workflows, and maintain strong client partnerships while meeting financial goals. Responsibilities include staffing, budget oversight, and collaboration with clinical and corporate teams to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of occupational health, employee wellness, and workers' compensation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage operations across multiple locations.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and operational performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to establish credibility and build trust with employees, clients, and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects.
• Experience identifying operational challenges, improving processes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology.
• Must reside on the East Coast of the United States.
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of a major metropolitan airport.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and overall performance of multiple occupational health and wellness clinics.
• Ensure clinics operate efficiently and in line with Medcor standards, policies, and contracts.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinic workflows, patient experiences, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Training, HR, and other departments to support clinic operations.
• Ensure staffing, supplies, equipment, and resources are available.
• Support implementation of new processes and improvements across locations.
• Lead, coach, and support clinic staff across locations.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and service delivery.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, revenue, and financial performance.
• Ensure accurate billing and compliance with contractual rates.
• Support growth initiatives and expansion of services.
