Insurance Office of America seeks an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff, ensure service excellence, and strengthen operational efficiency. You will guide performance, coach staff, and manage an assigned book of business.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the industry or 7+ years in sales/relationships, plus an active license. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, with MS Office proficiency and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years of sales, marketing or relationship management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance against standards for productivity, efficiency, quality and service.
• Promote IOA culture and engage the team.
• Support staff training and development.
• Develop future branch operations leaders through succession planning.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and onboarding.
• Deliver evaluations and maintain clear communication with leadership.
• Balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
• Implement and enforce operational processes and best practices.
• Analyze performance data and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate data across agency and carrier systems.
• Manage an assigned book of business and client relationships.
• Provide subject matter expertise on coverage and service questions.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, claims support, and documentation.
• Lead renewals and new business processes.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
• Promote IOA values and integrity.
