Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM) to work remotely with enterprise customers in the southeastern US. You will provide strategic technical and architectural guidance, build long-term loyalty, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes customer advocacy, proactive support, and strong collaboration skills. Travel within the region is required to visit regional customers as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in support, development, engineering, IT, or QA
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform and PaaS cloud solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to travel regionally for customer visits and events
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field, CS or engineering preferred

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions
• Learn and apply new technologies related to containers, orchestration, registries, build strategies, and microservices
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders to understand business goals and priorities
• Serve as customer advocate within Red Hat and coordinate with engineering, product management, and support teams
• Create customer engagement plans and document customer environments and issues
