Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager in the United States (Toledo, OH) to serve as the field-based single point of contact for providers, patients, and caregivers navigating coverage, reimbursement, and PAP enrollment across the Oncology portfolio.

The role focuses on onboarding, access support, and ongoing care, guiding patients through payer discussions, enrollment, and coordination with Specialty Pharmacy and back-office teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or related areas.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residence within territory or within 30 miles of territory border (preferred).
• Extensive oncology navigation, access and reimbursement experience (preferred).
• Advanced degree (MBA/ MPH/ PharmD) or other relevant degree (preferred).
• RN license and BSN (preferred).
• Experience using CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud (preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing approved information on oncology care and benefit discussions.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
• Support patient enrollment in PAP and guide offices through enrollment requirements and consent.
• Provide treatment education via approved guides, ensuring product education is delivered.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Facilitate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy and back-office teams as needed.
• Document all interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM in line with program standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict data separation between patient-facing and account-facing activities.
